Private and Group
training is available at Xtreme K9 Obedience. Private lessons are the better way
to train your dog because you get one-on-one training without any distractions
from Group Class. In Group Class you have the advantage of having your dog
socialized at the same time as it is being trained. It’s also the cheapest
training option because you’re sharing your time with others.
At Xtreme K9
Obedience we will:
• Teach you how to train your dog.
• Make necessary modifications to your training.
• Ensure you get the results you want.
• Customize the training to meet your needs.
Private lessons
give you more flexibility than group classes. You can always re-book a missed
private lesson but must complete an 8 week session in 90 days. Group class is
more difficult to reschedule.
Duration:
Basic & Advanced Obedience lasts 8 weeks. Puppy classes are only 6 weeks. The
classes last about an hour with necessary breaks included.
Cost:
Based on evaluation. Evaluations are done at a client’s place where the trainer
will assess the problem(s) and find the best solution to correct them.
Location:
Private lessons are conducted in-home and Group Classes are conducted at a
determined place.
Motivation:
We do not use treats, clickers, force or bribery to train your dog, only lots of
praise and positive encouragement. We believe that those methods make it easier
and much more fun for you and your dog.
Prerequisites:
• Dog is
6 months and older.
• Completed training evaluation.
• No major behavioral problems that cannot be corrected in group training, ex:
Canine & Human aggression.
Space are limited
for group class and registrations on a first come, first served basis.
